On a related note, I have a neighbour who ordered three cell phones (he was on a family plan), that were to be delivered by mail. The mail man can to the door in the evening to deliver the package. One of the boxes had the bottom cut out of it and was re-taped up. The cell phone was missing out of the package (he did get the other two cell phones). Anyway, he ended up on a fight between the cell phone company and the post office, as to who was responsible for the missing (stolen) cell phone. It took a couple of months to resolve, but in the end, he did end up getting a new phone to replace the one that was missing. The odd thing is that the package was delivered in the evening by the postal delivery person - which is unusual. Anyway, it was hard to prove who took it, but it didn't make any sense, because whoever took it would have a hard time (if not impossible time) to use that phone.
