Nope, I do not associate truculence with fighting.

I associate truculence with players like Gary Roberts, like Jarome Iginla, Giordano, Tkachuk, players who are tough as nails but not goons or just fighters, players who can take care of themselves. They don't need their teammates to come running to their defense as they will take care of business by themselves. Their reputation precedes them and opposing players know not to mess with them.

The Flames don't have enough of those type of players. I don't consider someone like Hamilton as possessing a lot of truculence. I think he plays soft and as a double whammy, he also takes dumb penalties.
