Of course we never see Hamilton and Gio switch while in the offensive end either. Further to that, is any player on the flames on his off side on the pp? Nope. So there goes that theory.
Its almost as if you blindly defend GG regardless of context. The guy can simply do no wrong.

How is that any different then the GG haters who think he can do nothing right? Sadly, this place is like a bubble where everyone just watches this team and picks apart every little thing about the team and coach when in reality, every team has the same issues and has periods where they're mentally weak, periods where they come out flat and periods where they lose against teams they shouldn't. This is not exclusive to just the Calgary Flames or we'd be in the basement with the Sabres.
Does anyone here watch every practice? These guys practice the PP on a daily basis and they know exactly what doesn't work. Just because a player is on his off side doesn't mean he's going to have a great one timer. Accuracy is probably the most important aspect of a one timer and Dougie misses the net more than anyone. This is a team that was not built with the proper weapons at its disposal, that's why they've struggled to score in all situations.
