Not sure what this has to do with the topic but while an off wing shot has a more centred shot on a one timer an on wing has a better angle at the short side (since the object is to put it where the goalie isn’t).
Moreover GG does not insist on RH/LH for forwards. It’s more about defence pairings, and it has nothing to do with the offensive zone - it’s about taking the puck off of the boards in the D zone and transitioning.
