I'd guess the numbers don't lie and he's a bottom roster player going forward, but he's smart and doesn't hurt you on the ice. Ideal fourth line center for next season.

Agreed. The difference between he and Monahan is the ability to shoot the puck, and by that I mean that Monahan is elite and Shore is pretty poor at it. He's almost always in the right spots on the ice and has a good head for the game. Good pick up for a 7th round pick.
