The AHL Transactions page shows Kylington being recalled again today after being recalled and returned on Saturday (I doubt he ever left the team). He'll probably be yo-yoing between Calgary and Stockton (on paper, at least) for the rest of the season. |
But if there is/was a potential that a regular (Stone?) may not play, what's the point of keeping him physically in Stockton. The Flames would still end up dressing only 5D for the game.
I thought the whole point of the emergency recall was to insert him into the line-up if there are any last-minute injuries/family issues.
