You're honestly going after Gio in this? Holy moly is there some grasping at straws.

Tell you what, go and get a buddy to whack you as hard as he can on the back of the calf and then try to go after him. Doubt you'll get very far.

And Stone Jumped once he saw what was going on. But of course this is omitted because is was during a quick camera cut out to another angle.

Lucic was a POS and taking liberties on both Smith and Gio.

And since there was nobody really close on the playing roster to deal with the guy, Glass got gooned up trying to make Lucic answer for his crime.

The simplest explanation is the team is not built to deal with this. Not Ferland, not Glass (middleweight class at best in the fighting department) not Stone or Smith or Gio.

Any one of those guys try to fight Lucic and you risk long term injury.

The only guys remotely close to dealing with Lucic in that way are Stewart and Gazdic down on the farm. Or Prout. Fresh out of call ups and the one guy who could got toe to toe with Lucic was scratched after scoring the only goal in a few games.
