The Knights officially clinch a playoff spot with their 4-1 win over Colorado. Marchessault with three points as the two teams split their home-away series with the Knights winning on points 3-2.

The other home-away series had the Hurricanes wining both games, they won at home 4-1.

The upset of the night had the Coyotes defeating the Lightning 4-1 in Tampa Bay! The Lightning are only two points up on the Bruins and Boston has two games in hand in the race for first place in the eastern conference.
