Yeah... obviously his parents wrote that. Which brings up the issue of whether it's ethical to use your kids as vehicles for political statements when they're not themselves old enough to understand the nuances of political disagreement. That bugs the hell out of me when I see it, usually from pro-lifers - babies with signs saying they could have been murdered in the womb and so on.
This particular issue might get a pass considering that, first, the kids holding the signs are themselves directly affected by the issue under discussion, and second, even if they're not old enough to form independent political opinions, presumably they are old enough to want to not be shot while at school. Still, probably best to let them write their own signs.
That one is funny though.
