Lazar has done none of those things, other than being drafted higher. All while Ferland didn't start playing hockey until 14 and lost a year and a bit of development to alcoholism.
Lazar has had ample opportunity on two different NHL teams due to his high draft status and great personality, and done absolutely nothing with it. Ferland has earned his place through adversity.
Your opinion is valid and you have a right to it, but it's not based on evidence.

Guys the 2015 playoffs were a long time ago. Ferland is closer to a Lady Bing candidate than this impactful, physical player way too many fans still think he is. Lomberg played in 7 games this season and only has 9 less penalty minutes for example so let's please talk 2018 when describing players.
