^^You don't trade Gaudreau. The Flames need more high end players, not less.

Trading your best players is an Oilers(and Habs) strategy, lets not get into that. The Flames simply don't match up to good teams throughout the lineup, certainly some of that will improve with experience, the rest has to come from the available cap space being freed up in the off season.
