Problem with trading a player like Gaudreau is the gap in perception for what he is worth. Say you could negotiate a trade with the Flyers.

Ask would be: Provorov, Patrick, Sanheim, 2018 1st
Be nice to add in Konecny but Flyers probably wouldn't give up the above.
How would you judge a fair return?

What is a fair return for other players?

What is Brodie worth?
If Hamonic was worth a 1st and two 2nds is Brodie worth a 1st and 3rd?

Could you get Marner and Nylander for Hamilton?
Too little? Too much? For whom?
