Because he sucks defensively but he still probably has the most value.
Teams will think they can work on his defense and thus pay the premium for the offense and tools.
I've made my mind up that Hamilton will never be a Norris type or the lead guy on a top pairing. He is Seabrook to Gio's Keith right now and the sooner the Flames cash in on the perceived upside the better.
