Thanks a ton for donating the tickets! It was awesome to meet you before the game and to talk Flames for a bit. Will have to share some more talk over a brew sometime. They were great seats.. really great access to the beer line too. When Petr, Scorp, and I were heading downstairs by the truck at the 2nd intermission, I had to duck away to get a beer and still caught up before they made it down the stairs.
It was a true honor to sit by calgaryboy for a game and to talk hockey with him. Told myself when it happened a few years back I'd try to meet him the next time he came back. Sorry you had to experience the suckiness of Gulutzan Flames hockey live, buddy... know that we also feel your pain.
Gotta say even with one of the most miserable losses of all time, had some great company to share it with. We looked like the oddest quartet ever, all 4 in different age ranges, but it was a blast even with the Flames spectacularly crapping the bed.
P.S. I also thought TheScorpion was Matthew Phillips when I first saw him.
