Stajan was useful in his first couple of years at a decent price, it's only lately that his contract has been bad. If brouwer was here for 500 games and played the way he's playing now, at his price tag, for the last 2.5 seasons I'd probably overlook a lot of what makes him bad in the first place.
Stajan is who he is. I don't think he's ever carried himself like a first or second liner.
