The Lord British was so funny.
I am a developer on the biggest server of Ultima Online right now and for our 5th anniversary we actually had Richard Garriott (Lord British) and Starr Long (Lord Blackthorn) on our twitch stream where we had a Q&A session with them.
After the Q&A, we did a roleplaying scene where RAINZ (played by one of our staff members) comes back and teams up with Lord British to kill Lord Blackthorn. Everyone who remembered the original got a good kick out of it.
