Honestly, if that kind of hit is taken out of the game, you may as well call it a day and say goodbye to the league. No one will pay the kind of money to watch womens rules hockey that they do to see the game as it has been played since day 1.

I disagree. The reasons why people don't watch women's hockey is because it is much slower and just not the best in the world playing (no offense to the sport).
There will be always be incidental contact in a fast game, but Reaves proactively and deliberately hurt Brodie to hurt him.
That has to stop.
