I think for those of us on the other side of the argument don't think it's about him being a "good player again", because I don't think he was ever a good player (in the context of this argument, clearly he's good enough to play in the best league in the world).
Brodie had one amazing season IMO, which if you actually look at it closely, had many of the same issues we are seeing now, but masked by the one dimension of his game that actually is good.
Brodie has some amazing offensive upside and creativity, but the rest of his game is junk and IMO always has been. I don't disagree, a new coach might get more out of Brodie's offensive game, but also IMO, he's never going to be good enough defensively to be in a true cup contending teams Top 4. I think we are better off moving him.
