The problem is goes beyond the PP though. Goaltending was an issue in past years, but with Smith and Rittich in a backup role, it was solid this year.

The coaching issues are with GG's stubbornness and inability to adapt to the situation in a timely manner; whether it is in-game (switching the goalie, timeouts, rallying the team between periods) or longer term (Brodie on the right, D pairings, Bennett at C). The purpose of youth is to grow and change. I don't see enough evidence of learning from past mistakes.

Unless there demonstration of a complete change in coaching philosophy over the reminder of the season and into the playoffs, the entire coaching staff has to go.

I can't put up with another season of wasted year of the core's contracts. I feel like we aren't getting the most out of our players because they're handcuffed to a system which hasn't been that effective in getting the wins, Bennett & Brodie and to a lesser extent Jankowski.
