Ditto. Sending my resume. They might balk at my shocking lack of hockey experience but I made a special note to pay attention to the fact that while I was not an Oiler in the 80s I was alive and in Alberta in the 80s and that should be close enough to know a thing or two about winning.
That being said, Lame Duck GM would be an awesome job.
I've always wanted to be the never-played backup goaltender on a championship team, but Lame Duck GM is waaaaaay better. You dont have to put equipment on and you get an office and when your team wins you still get a bonus and a ring.
How could you go wrong?
