You are right. We don't have to look back a decade to know that this core will have burned thru two sets of coaching staff in 3 years. If GG and his crew are shown the door, get ready for another year of 'adjusting to a new system'
if i was BT and was letting the coaches go - i would also trade the rotten pieces of the core this summer - whomever they happen to be.
