Hazing is a horrible practice. I've spoken to enough hockey players that had experienced it at various pro levels. Surprisingly, not all of them condemn it though. Those, who were physically bigger and stronger did not experience it too bad, because they would not let others push them beyond fun stuff. Those who were clearly high-level were not hazed as bad by others for the fear of consequences from coaches if a player choose to complain. It's only those who were smaller/weaker/less-talented that experienced the worst of hazing. One guy told me he was literally hung by his armour off the clothes hook in the dressing room after practice and had to stay hanging there until everyone left. He was telling me this while laughing about it. I don't know if I'd have the same reaction...
