Speaking of embellishments, Dougie Hamilton is one of the worst.

A few games back he was trying to draw a high-sticking call, and whipped his head back like he’d just been clubbed by a baseball bat in the teeth.

The replay showed the stick didn’t even come within 8 or 9 inches of his face, and there was absolutely no contact. It was ridiculous, and even Hrudey had a hard time spinning it.

My prediction for tonight is that McDavid will just take over the hockey game. He and RNH are going to break out tonight against the most overrated defence in the league.

Nice to see McDavid and Oilers are in the Flame fans heads. They've gone from expecting a sure win against the Oilers a couple seasons ago to worrying and feeling not confident at all after now going 0-9 against the Oilers. They think this is our Stanley Cup tonight lol. That last game in Cowtown was crazy.. hopefully tonight will be just as entertaining with similar end results.

Just looked at the Flames lineup for tonight. Double shift Connor and he may get five points. That bottom six forward group looks really weak.

This will be satisfying putting the nail into their coffin.

I don't really care if the Oilers lose every other game this season.

suspended 1 game for jabbing Luke Witkowski after Witkowski already had been kicked out of the game and had left the ice surface which started a line brawl
Sure, Machand has a long history of doing dumb stuff like this but Tkachuck has done a lot in only 2 seasons. Marchand has 8 full nhl seasons under his belt and has been suspended 5 times. Tkachuck has already been suspended 3 times in 2 seasons. At that rate by 8 seasons he'll be at 12 suspensions.

Good I ####ing hate that piece of ####. He’s got a punchable face.

It'd be nice to drive a nail into the coffin that is their playoff chances.

Tkachuk not on for the game-day skate, so he may not play. He's become my most hated NHL player.

Ultimate Buyer’s Remorse

Here’s the roster of players that absolutely should NOT be on the 18-19 roster because they are terrible:

Russell. Creates more problems than he solves.
Cagguila. AHL depth player only.
Slepyshev. He’s invisible, zero impact.
Cammaleri. Too slow, never plays in NHL again.
Lucic. Unfortunately his contract is bulletproof.

Russell is already a trainwreck

Lucic drives like a cement truck on three wheels that happens to be on the ice. Oh yea and the driver is payed $6 million

I hate Lucic and Russell. Russell does not seem to be able to complete a pass.

God watching Drai skate alongside Cammi and Lucic is like watching an Olympic sprinter alongside two real-life Peter Griffens.

Cammalleri looked like he had a parachute attached to him.

Kassian came in last season super lean and looking good. He looks like a big Phil Kessel now.

I have stuck up for Lucic in the past, hoping that it was simply a slump. But after tonight, I have come to the conclusion that his give a crap level is at zero. He has the stones to tune in his teamates on the bench a few games ago and then plays like he has for most of the year. And tonight was just another example that Milan is here for the paycheck and nothing else. How the hell he get gifted the ice time he does is mind boggling. He should be on the 4th line in Bakersfield. Or busted down the the ECHL. There is not way he has any respect inside the room, the way he floats around the ice with the play dying on his stick time and time again.

For those wondering why Kassian isn't standing up for McDavid, here's a fact:

Kassian hasn't had more than 2 minutes in penalties since Jan 25 against the Flames where he accrued 37 minutes.

His last penalty was March 3, it was 2 minutes. Before that, no penalties since Jan 25 and no penalties since.

Coincidence? I think not.

He's literally getting mugged and the refs are like.. "what can i do?"

Flames know they can start throwing McDavid around now because the only that guy comes to his aid is RNH.
