It's definitely a very sad time for the men's game. There's a huge opening for the younger guys to make a move, or for the more veteran players to win some big tournaments. Instead, Roger dominates it all. The post-Federer era is looking mighty bleak at the moment, so much so that it's going to probably keep Fed's career going because he's got no reason to retire when he keeps racking up the wins. It seems insane to me that Connors record might actually be in play, and I still don't realistically think it is, but it's went from being a total absurdity to consider it, to being a possibility you can't dismiss.
