I absolutely agree. It is one thing when it is a rebuilding year but this was an all-in year. The Flames are 9-8-1 when I attend this year and that is a bad return on inventemt if you ask me.
This team has been so mentally fragile in the past 2 years and to me that is a coach that hasn’t forged an identity for his team 152 games into his tenure with the club.
It is laughable that he is having a practice where he feels the need to teach his group how they need to play at game 70. Gulutzan’s Flames are the definition of good on paper. They have a nice looking roster when you write it down, and they produce some pretty nifty graphs and charts that say this is a good team. The eye test and actual result tell a different story
