I would say a talented lineup that has been grossly misused and abused, but looking for a quick rebound. This is a team that is just made up for greater success. Just showing up and being anything but a brain dead idiot in how you use your players should be enough to see improvement.
I would also say money. The Flames should be able to cough up some serious dough for a coach. They are paying Burke $3M a year to do SFA, so a guy that can actually make a difference should be more than worthy of forking some cash over for. |
