Just another woefully uninspired and unprepared game from a team that should be fighting for its playoff life in front of its fans that they have let down all season. Dismal.
As I was sitting in the Dome tonight, the team solidifying my decision to relinquish my tickets next season, I realized something even worse. I have been bringing my kids to several games this year, wanting them to become fans as well. But instead of the games being exciting and riveting (win or lose isn’t really that important, honestly), it is mostly about having treats, and me trying to make things interesting and fun in spite of what is going on in the game.
They are making it hard for me to stay a die hard fan, and the teams play is preventing my kids from becoming hard core fans. I’ll stay with them team, certainly as soon as they give me something to cheer about again. I’m worried I’ve lost the chance to get my kids hooked.
