The play at home more than anything else will be what sunk the Flames if they come up short.
Not sure there are any playoff teams that get in with a sub .500 home record. The road record was more than good enough. Just had to be half decent at home.
It's incomprehensible to me how they clicked right back into their typical home game flop blueprint yet again. After that trip, knowing the opponent, the situation? Astounding tbh. It was what I and probably many feared but I thought no, the circumstances are too urgent now, they'll have to at least get up for this one. Amazed to see the same thing again. Ho hum, no urgency, until they're getting lit up.
How hard is it to start a home game on time? Not even that, just literally keep to exactly what they do every road game and they'd have a far better chance. They do it a lot of nights already. How the #### is there such a contrast on a rink that's identical to every other in the league?
Really don't understand, at all. You could pay a team to purposely try and frustrate/confuse its fans and they wouldn't be able to outdo what the Flames have this year.
