Browns made a series of trades on Friday night, giving up multiple draft picks to acquire quarterback Tyrod Taylor, wide receiver Jarvis Landry and cornerback Damarious Randall.
The Browns have more than $100 million in salary cap space. All the salary cap space piled up by the front office of former Browns general manager Sashi Brown permitted the trades for Taylor and Landry to happen.
They kept all their first and second round picks too. I'm not sure getting Taylor guarantees they won't take a QB #1. He seems to be a game manager/placeholder QB. Browns fans seem split on taking Barkley #1. Some think the QB position is too important and RBs can break down early. I side with others that say there will be good QB options at #4.
