But last year I had what most people here would consider normal. I have worn really thick glasses as far back as I can remember. So 30+ years of wearing glasses for every waking hour except showers and swimming. And then last year my eye doctor tells me that they have finally made decent contacts that I could leave in for a month. It was so weird, feeling a cold gust of wind blowing against my full face for the first time, or having the full effect of a fan on a warm day. Or even being able to see where the soap was in the shower. Though, even though I've had them for a year, every day I wear the contacts I feel like I need to go find my glasses... and I'll still push them up the bridge of my nose even though they are not there.
And to whomever suggested hitting a home run, I'm with ya. Actually, just hitting a ball as hard as you can with the sweet spot. I haven't played any organized ball in 5 years, but I still go to the batting cages and hammer a few.

you think that's great, you should experience the feeling of having laser eye surgery and waking up for the first time and being able to see the clock!! I still love that and it's been 2 years
