i would say the goal of quadrant hockey would be to provide a place for the "elite" players to play against each other and develop their skills, in a more competitive environment than can be offered in community hockey.
i would say there is likely more internal pressure to win, as presumably the teams have more A+++ personalities on them.
while not really a goal, the player will likely be more committed to the game due to the number of practices and games and off ice sessions with the team. In addition a a player at this level is likely doing more training (dryland, spring hockey, camps etc) throughout the off-season
