I don’t know, maybe I would like it more? I could support Palace for a day against Liverpool, watch the home team pick up a win and have a few pints. Actually, it sounds amazing!!

The rich americans who bought into the team have apparently committed the money for the new stand/renos and bringing capacity to 34k even if it's in the championship, and I think that's more important to Palace long term than staying up if that's possible. Selhurst park is atmospheric but a hole and Palace could easily draw much bigger crowds and make a lot more money in the EPL with how big their catchment it. I think they could develop into a mid sized premier league club long term with the right luck and decisions.
But then again look at Sheff Wednesday, Villa and Leeds, size of the fanbase and stadium clearly doesn't mean as much these days.
West Brom are going down too. For me the question mark is the 3rd team.
If I had to pick I'd guess Huddersfield. Crazy that Bournemouth could stay up again, that's like a Div 3 team off the pitch.

I’m not going to say I follow them closely, because that’s a lie, but I did realize that they have some big names out. I still think Zaha is a good player and that’s a big loss to them for sure. And some of the others are decent enough. I think they have enough to stay up, but it’s going to be tight.
The new/redone stadium looks like a good plan. That kind of capacity doesn’t seem over the top or anything and should be full.
