The Toronto Blue Jays have turned their focus back to acquiring a shortstop some two weeks after saying Hill would fill the position in the 2007, with 36-year-old free agent Royce Clayton a strong possibility for the job.
''We're going to address that in the next few days,'' general manager J.P. Ricciardi said Wednesday, after a news conference re-introducing catcher Gregg Zaun.
''We like Royce Clayton. We like a lot of guys.''
