No way we can move Brouwer IMO this summer but if we walk away from expensive veteran forwards and maybe move Stone I don't see a cap issue to sign a good UFA or make another big trade in the summer
I also don't see major cap issues the following summer without something very major happening next season - Tkachuk gets 75+, Bennett gets 50+, Ferland gets 50+. If any or all of these happen then you buyout Brouwer and trade Frolik and replace them through the AHL because the Flames will be some good

I'd buy out Brouwer this summer, not next. It's a relatively cheap buyout.
