I guess in the new NHL coaches don't call timeout anymore, or I'm just too old. Yes, you want to save the timeout for challenge in a tight game. But, without the timeout to settle the team down, a tied game can turn into a rout. That's what happened tonight and many other games. A good coach would be able to tell if it's worth the timeout and not grudgingly saving it for possible challenge later in the game, IMHO anyway.
