For bottom six guys not on a power play, in a system like hours that is anti-scoring, points tend to come in bunches, and Mangiapane just needs to see that first one go in.

I agree that he was showing signs of figuring it out at the NHL level. He needs to build strength for next season, however, as he does get pushed around a lot.
