I agree on Gillies, something about the way he moves does not seem right. I also think he is slow, very slow to react and the big frame saves him from being slightly out of position. Having never really watched him I don't know if this is what he does or he still needs a few adjustments to the NHL game.
I am not down on him or anything just that his play is not overly encouraging to me at this point.
