As for Sam, he’s still very raw and has some refining to do in his overall game. But he still has the potential to be an excellent pro. He’s no Nylander or Ehlers, but he could one day be a gritty 25g-25a guy at his peak which isn’t too shabby.

Rookie? Sure. 23 year old rookie who is looking lost out there. I agree he has room to grow. But, on this 2018 team, he is a below average centreman that doesn’t drive offence. I think anyone here would admit that his production this year has not met even the most generous of homer expectations.

To talk about next year and potential and all that. But I responded to a post where someone said the were “excited to see” what a WW pickup could do with Bennett and Janko. I assumed they meant now.
