Jankowski is a rookie. He’s played like 50 games and he’s a bust? Here’s a story, there’s a guy named Brad Marchand who’s one of the best wingers in the game today and he only had 1 assist in 50+ games in his rookie season. I wouldn’t judge a rookie too harshly in which he’s looked pretty good at times. He’s just hit the rookie wall like 90% of first year players.
As for Sam, he’s still very raw and has some refining to do in his overall game. But he still has the potential to be an excellent pro. He’s no Nylander or Ehlers, but he could one day be a gritty 25g-25a guy at his peak which isn’t too shabby.
