Why do you keep saying things like this? Do you view every decision the coaches made as either a reward or a punishment? Does it not make more sense to view decisions made about Brouwer and Stone's usage of the man advantage, and in this AM's morning skate as neither rewarding nor punitive? There are plenty of instances where we can agree that players have been either rewarded or censured this season for their play, but so what? I think it is abundantly fair to expect that posters to be much less reductionistic when forming their opinions.
