Ok, I just watched the episode "A world between worlds" Thanks to a friend of mine across the ocean.
Please don't read if you don't want to be spoiled. Episode summary
Spoiler!
Holy freaking arese crackers.
I won't go to deep.
The Temple is a nexus in time, it allows one to travel the past present and future. So when Ezra gets into the temple, he starts hearing voices from the past, Yoda, Luke, Leia, Anakin. He can also see events in time.
The reason why the Empire wants it is that the person that controls the temple controls the galaxy.
Ezra basically becomes a bit omniscient. He see's the fight between Ashoka and Vader and at the moment that the temple collapses on her, Ezra reaches through the portal and saves her. That's right Ashoka is alive. We also find out that the little bird that we saw in the episode that she died is either a guide for the Sister from Mortis or the Sister herself.
Outside of the Temple, Sabine is captured by an Imperial expert on the Force voiced by Malcolm McDowell. Who's again awesome. He appears to be an acolyte from the same order as the old man that served Vader in Rogue one. He tries to get Sabine to use her knowledge of art to open the temple.
In the temple. Ezra and Ashoka see another portal that shows Kanan's death. Ezra wants to save him, but Ashoka convinces him not to because if Ezra saves Kanan from death everyone all dies.
First of all this is tragically heartbreaking, but at the same time I drew a line between Ezra and Anakin and his fall. Anakin couldn't let the people that he loved go no matter what the cost and it caused his faill. Ezra found the strength to let Kanan die.
In an incredibly chilling scene, Ashoka tells Ezra that she can't join him on Lothal, and we hear a familiar voice that says "Perhaps I can" That's right Ian McDarmid is back as the Emperor and he's awesome, and he wants the temple. This is no force manifest, this is Palpatine and we see his power as he must consume Ashoka and Ezra to fully enter and take control of the Temple.
Ashoka tells Ezra that they must split up to escape the Emperor and she tells Ezra to come find her. She exits the temple and returns to Malichor and we see her limp into the Dark temple like she did at the end of Episode 2, so this has happened before.
Ezra escapes and stops the Emperor's plan as he can't enter the Temple. The Rebels then seal the temple and it collapses into the ground.
We hear Kanan's voice telling Ezra that the Force will be with him always.
The end scene shows Ezra seeing the Dume wolf who's job is now done, the Temple that he was guardian of is safe. Ezra realizes this and says that Kanan is gone forever, and he see's the white wolf in the distance and in a really emotional moment says goodbye to his master.
Great episode, I wasn't nuts about the time travel aspect, but it would make the Emperor incredibly powerful as he could see and manipulate events in the past present and future through the force.
2 episodes left, one half hour and one hour.
This season has nearly surprassed the best season of the Clone Wars
Ashoka is back, but I think she has to try to finish the job with Vader and it will lead to heart break.
