I think that Andersson can play on the bottom pairing right now, but what happens if Hamilton or Hamonic get hurt? Suddenly you have to play Andersson in the top 4 with Brodie, and then either call up another defencemen from the farm to play on the off-side, or have Bartkowski play on his off-side.
Things could get ugly in a hurry with an injury. It isn't worth moving Stone and risking that just to get a third? MAYBE a 2nd round pick to a team that is really desperate for defencemen? Too disruptive with a chance of blowing up in your face.

Agreed. Andersson doesn't have any experience in the NHL at this point either, do you want that on your bottom pairing in the playoffs? Probably not. Maybe move Stone at the draft or the next deadline if Andersson is blowing the door off but it's still time to be patient.
