Much like the Dion deal did for the Kings, the Ryan trade would help the flames now, and have the potential to turn out ok in the future if Ryan rebounds. For the Senators, much like the Dion deal, this trade allows them to cut $9m of salary (and even more if they decide to buy out Brouwer). |
