Janko or Bennett might get there one day but they aren't there now and as a result its a weak spot on the roster.
Signing Tavares as a UFA would be best case (unlikely) scenario but trading for ROR would work just fine for me.
The way the Flames cap is structured his 7.5 million cap hit doesnt really scare me either.

It's not just $7.5 this year though. It's long term. I'd want some retention, not much though. I like ROR and the Flames would have insane centre depth (ROR is also a RH shot for what that's worth).
