Working with Buffalo, there's no player I can really get excited about

Okposo - Needs to be cheaper

Kane - This is not a player I can see positively contributing to the locker room nor working with Treliving on a team-friendly contract. He wants to be paid, and I don't think he's the kind of player who cares which team pays him. His contract demands are going to upset Gaudreau, Monahan and Gio - while also hurting us when it comes time to meet Tkachuk at the table.

Reinhart - I can't see them giving him up without us having to give up something promising (like Fox). I don't think that trading for him will be something we don't regret down the road.

ROR - Way way too much money. It's downright silly how much they're paying him.

Basically, if we can somehow get anyone on the list long-term on a deal that still allows us to re-sign all the critical players coming up then sure. But any deal that's fair on both sides isn't all that attractive for the Flames.
