Sutter became the GM in April 2003. His acquisitions that 03/04 season in the lead up to the SCF were:
Kiprusoff
Warrener
Reinprecht
Nieminen
Simon
Nilson
They don't play in the SCF without Sutter's moves that season... they don't even make the playoffs.
