Sucks to say, but I'd be surprised if the Flames made the playoffs at this point(I really hope I am wrong). They've just blown too many points away, and haven't really improved at all since that 7 game winning streak. While the California teams are picking up points at will it seems like now...
So. f'n. Frustrating. It really shouldn't be like this. It's either we get scoring, but can't keep the puck out, or we play well defensively, but we can't score, or the goaltending craps the bed altogether...Nothing can come together at once for any extended period of time - and the special teams. Yeesh.
It is quite unacceptable, especially after some of the "all in" type moves in the offseason.
We SHOULD be in a better spot than this, but here we are...
I also look forward to seeing Vegas crash and burn next year(which I think is quite likely). To come in the league and be a top team in their first year is just annoying. I've been waiting to watch the Flames be a upper tier team for years, yet here comes Vegas. Get outta here...
