Flames get the obviously more dynamic right shooting defenseman, who is a little older and more expensive.
Ottawa gets a very good young right shooting offensive Dman who is cost controlled for 3 more seasons after this one, and in the process pick up a little extra as well save a ton of money, which seems to be a recurring theme in Ottawa.
What the plus would be I don't know, but other than that I just don't see the Flames having the assets to pull it off.

Wasn't it reported that the Sens want 5-6 pieces rather than a big piece and a small add? That being said as much as I like Karlsson I would rather hang on to Dougie.
