I can't wait for the trade deadline to pass, just so these horrendous trade proposals can die. Just a reminder to people, there are roster limits, there are contract limits, and there are cap limits. You can't stack up five contracts on one side of the ledger for one contract on the other. Most teams already have 46-48 contracts committed and are not looking to throw that balance way out of whack. You also have to offer similar value back in trade. If you're bringing in a top line player, expect to lose one in return, or at least picks/prospects where a player of similar stature may be available.
