His numbers are better than Giordano (and this isn't to slight Gio)

Hamilton doesn't get enough credit.
Typical big guy who doesn't play physical bias. Since he isn't crushing people with his frame people automatically think he is bad defensively.
But really he is a great skater, strong positionally, and has a really active stick at breaking up plays. He does make the odd boneheaded turnover but really that is most players who handle the puck a ton as d-men.
